What are the dangers of bigne eating>

Binge eating disorder triggers a person to eat more than the recommended portions of food. This habit results in a sore and stuffed belly that can result in serious health problems. Here are three major health issues that are directly associated with binge eating.

Obesity and Weight Gain

The nutrients that are not utilized immediately are converted into fat and stored for later use thereby resulting in weight gain and obesity. This is usually the case especially for people who do not take part in physical exercises to burn the excess calories. Excess weight and weight gain will increase your risk of getting other serious diseases like heart disease and diabetes which can result in death.

Type-2 Diabetes

Research studies have proven that individuals who overeat are 40% more likely to suffer from type-2 diabetes than those who eat the right food portions. This disorder makes it difficult for your body to balance your blood sugar levels. The symptoms of Type-2 diabetes are blurry vision, extreme thirst, fatigue, numbness, and voiding too frequently.

Heart Disease

Excess weight makes it hard for your heart to pump blood and make sure that all organs have consistent supply of blood. Accumulation of fat along the belly increases the risk of high blood sugar, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. All these conditions significantly increase your risk of stroke and heart attack. Some of the symptoms of heart disease are chest pain, fast heartbeat, sweating, dizziness, and shortness of breath.

Depression and Mood Swings

Anxiety and depression is often experienced by people who have a binge eating problem. Individuals who binge eat are often trying to lift their moods and suppress guilty feelings. Antidepressants and cognitive behavioral therapy can help balance their emotions and increase their productivity.

Binge eating disorder has serious effects on the human body. Make sure that you eat the right portions of food to avoid the dangers discussed in this article.
