Egg yolk good for hair

Egg yolk good for hair

For some people it may seem unusual, or almost impossible to think that egg yolk is a good thing for your hair. Of course it is not typical to use something for that purpose, since we are already using it in the kitchen.

Well, you would be surprised how many things used in the kitchen are actually good for hair.
For decades women have used a lot of different conditioners and shampoos that contain eggs, and they were also mixing egg yolks with different things in order to get a good combination for their hair.

Egg yolk is good for you, in case you have damaged or dry hair, and if you mix it with other ingredients you will get a healthy, strong and shiny hair.
Why is it good for us ? Well you can find vitamin A in egg yolk, and that vitamin will improve you hair's ability to produce natural moisture.

On the other hand you have Vitamin E which is a good protector against factors such as UV rays.
Before you decide to try out egg yolk, you have to remember few things :

1. Do not leave it too long on your hair. So if you decide to make a mask with egg yolk, and you put it on your hair, leave it for maybe 20 minutes, or half an hour, not more, because you will have a problem to remove it afterwards.
2. In case you want to use this mask, be careful, cause you might be allergic to any ingredients that are in this treatment. So if you notice any skin change, don't use it anymore.
